FA Cup is City's 'dream' - Toure
Yaya Toure is taking more satisfaction from Manchester City's achievements this season than he did when playing in the all-conquering Barcelona side that won the Champions League in 2009.
City are on the brink of a first trophy in 42 years, having earned a place in the FA Cup final against Stoke on Saturday, while they secured a Champions League place with a top-four finish in the Premier League.
Although some believe City's success has been tainted by their massive outlay on new players, Toure insists that the influx of so many new faces, and the speed at which they gelled together, only adds to the achievement.
"It was a big decision to sign for City, but it was also very exciting," he said. "For this club, it was a dream to get to the Champions League, and a dream to win a trophy. But that dream is coming true and for me, that is more satisfying.
"If I had helped Arsenal, Chelsea or Manchester United reach the Champions League final, for them it would just be normal. This club had won nothing, so to do this here, for the first time, after making so many new signings, was not easy.
"We bought quality players but you need time to adapt to this championship. However, we have worked really well and shown everyone we want to achieve big things for this club."
