Shia LeBeouf and pouting model Rosie Huntington-Whitely hardly feature in the final trailer for Transformers: Dark Of The Moon that is big on special effects and action sequences.
Transformers: Dark Of The Moon's explosive final trailer has been released a day before it hits cinemas
The latest and last trailer for Transformers 3 reminds us that this is meant to be an action film and quite rightly focuses on lots of stuff getting blown to bits.
It begins slowly with shots of the moon landing scene as Shia LeBeouf's character Sam Witwicky says: 'The Decepticons have been planning this for 50 years... They're back to start the war.'
Some dazzling scenes include strange spaceships flying towards the city and an impressive tentacled robot.
Actor Alan Tudyk is seen briefly pointing a gun at someone and brawling in a bar before mysterious men jump from planes.
The trailer slows down only for a moment as a voice says: 'You may lose your faith in us - but never in yourselves. From here the fight will be your own.'
Shots of New York being completely destroyed as the Transformers do battle flash by, ending with Optimus Prime running through an explosion.
Looks like Transformers 3 is set to be a high-octane, action-packed ride but we'd expect nothing less from director Michael Bay.
Probably just as well as Rosie Huntington-Whiteley's acting 'talents' have been played down, as her performance in Dark Of The Moon has been slammed by critics just days before the film's release.
Transformers: Dark Of The Moon is released on 29th June 2011 in UK cinemas.
