    candel Lab pe pabandi nahin ahsaas pe pahra to hai

    Lab pe paabandi nahin ehsaas pe pahra to hai.
    Phir bhi ahle- dil ko ahwaale-basher kahna to hai.
    ( Haalaat)

    Apni gairet baich daalen, apna maslak chor den,
    Rahnumaon main kuch logon ki mansha to hai.

    Hai jineh subse jyada watan ka daawa,
    aaj unhi ki wajeh se hubbe- watan ruswa to hai.

    Bujh rahe hain ek-ek kerke akeedon ke diye
    Is andhere ka saamna kerna to hai.

    Jhoonth kyon bolen faroge-mashalat ke naam per
    Zindgi pyari sahi lekin hamain merna to hai
