I'll never quit Arsenal - Wenger
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has insisted there is "no chance" of him quitting the Premier League club.
Wenger came under further pressure this weekend in the wake of Arsenal's 2-0 home loss to Liverpool at Emirates Stadium.
The Frenchman's only experienced summer signing has been Gervinho, who was suspended for the Liverpool meeting, and the size of the Gunners' squad was exposed on Saturday as inexperienced trio Emmanuel Frimpong, Carl Jenkinson and Ignasi Miquel all featured.
There are now strong calls for Wenger to bolster his team before the close of the transfer window, following the departure of Cesc Fabregas to Barcelona and the likely exit of Samir Nasri to Manchester City.
When asked about his own future, Wenger said: "There is no chance of that [quitting] happening, I like to keep a sense of perspective.
"It is still the start of the season and we have had a couple of disappointing results, that's all. I don't feel under any more pressure than usual. We have an important week coming up and this is a time to stick together."
