Aisam-Marah pair wins Thailand Open Doubles Title

BANGKOK: Pakistan's ace tennis star Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi and his partner Oliver Marach of Austria routed their German opponents Michael Kohlmann and Alexander Waske in the final of Thailand Open ATP Championship in Bangkok.

They outplayed their opponents enroute to a convincing 7-6, 7-6 win. They beat the Italian opponents Simone Bolelli and Fabio Fognini in the Semifinal.

Earlier in the quarterfinals, Aisam and Oliver beat Jamie Murray of UK and Andre SA of Brazil after a grueling fight with a score of 6-4, 2-6, 10-7.
