A Lonely Moment

As lonely as a moon i am,
standing gloomy and looking calm,
keeping wihtin myself thunder and storm.

Nothing i have of my own,
borrowed soul and shatterred mass.

Divided i remain in two halves,
apathy at one end and dejection at all.

Aloofness is a blessing in disguise
for i can not mingle.

No matter how luminous i look,
silent i am like a closed book.

I see people longing for me and pray;

I feel guilty though i am not at fault,
hence bringing my life to a thudding halt.

It suffocates me all from within,
When i am lonely, shattered and grin.

Running away from the people and clout
b`coz it kills when there is storm both; inside and out !
