    candel Wo bekhaber he sahi itne bekhaber bhi nahin

    Wafa e waada nahin, naya waada bi nahin
    Ki mujse roothe to sahi per is kader bhi nahin.

    Baras rahi hai hareem e havas main daulate husn,
    gada e ishq ke kaase main ek nazer bhi nahin.

    Na jaane kis liye umeedwaar baitha hoon
    Ek aisi raah pe jo teri raahguzer bhi nahin.

    Nigah e shauk sar e bazm be-hisab na ho
    wo bekhaber he sahi, itne bekhaber bhi nahin.

    Ye Ahde-terk-e-Mohabbat hai kisliye aakhir
    Sakun-e-kalb idher bhi nahin udher bhi nahin.
