Warnock cools SWP injury fears
Queens Park Rangers have been boosted by the news that winger Shaun Wright-Phillips did not break his foot in Saturday's 2-1 defeat to Norwich City.
Wright-Phillips, 30, sustained the injury in the second half of his side's loss at Carrow Road and was replaced on 80 minutes by Tommy Smith.
The former Manchester City player left the ground on crutches, leading to fears he could be set for a prolonged period on the sidelines.
But QPR manager Neil Warnock told the club's official website on Tuesday: "Shaun is undergoing extensive treatment this week. Fortunately there's no break, and we haven't written him off just yet for Saturday's game with West Brom."
