The story of Kanebaaz begins in streets of Kharadar with a group of friends who play cards in their spare time. Siddique MOHIB MIRZA known as Kanebaaz a hustler card gambler is dating his best friends Shaiban's sister Shabana AMINA SHEIK a feisty yet cute girl who Kanebaaz is head over heels for. Mama RASHID FAROOQI (Ramchand Pakistani) organises a life time opportunity Kanebaaz to play Rana a local gangster who offers him big games with the elite society of Karachi playing for Bawanshah, FAISAL REHMAN (Love Story) a master card player who Kanebaaz has always dreamed of playing for. After rival gangster Armondera attempts to kill Bawanshah in a drive by shootout, Kanebaaz saves him and for this is offered work. Bawanshah soon grooms Kanebaaz into the world of the elite and their lavish lifestyle They become good friends in this strange yet close relationship, Bawan sees many cheeky traits of himself within Kanebaaz which makes Bawan confide in him more telling him about his tormented past about his marriage to his cousin Shireen which never happened and how she is now taking care of his mother who he has not spoken to in years. Kanebaaz goes on a mission to solve Bawans personal life out, and bawanshah reluctantly goes along with it, but nothing is as it seems and he soon realises Bawanshah has lied about many things about himself including killing one his friends When an school teacher aqaintance of Kanebaaz is gunned down in a target killing case, he discovers that Bawanshah has a connection with the case. Shaiban at this point demands that if he wants to get married to Shabana he must leave Bawanshah.
Kanebaaz now has everything he dreamnt of but he also knows about the evil that lurks beneath this world of fame, power & wealth. Will he pursue his dream or would he give it up for true love and friendship/honesty.
