    Kabhi yun milen koi muslihat koi khof dil me zara na ho

     Mujhe apni koi khabar na ho tujhe apna koi pata na ho

     Kabhi dhoop de kabhi badlian dil-o-jaan se dono kabool hain

     Magar us mehal me na kaid kar jahan zindagi ki hawa na ho

     Wo hzaar baghon ka bagh ho teri barkaton ki bahar se

    Jahan koi shakh hari na ho jahan koi phool khila na ho

     Tere ikhtiar me kya nhi mujhe is tarha se nawaz de

     Yun duaen meri kabool hon mere lab pe koi dua na ho

     Kabhi hum bhi us k kareeb thay dil-o-jaan se barh ker azeez thay

     Magar aj aise mila hai wo kabhi pehle jaise mila na ho
