Rangers confirm Cousin signing
Rangers have agreed the signing of Daniel Cousin on a free transfer, subject to international clearance.
Cousin, who turned 35 earlier this month, was available on a free transfer after a brief spell with Sapins in his native Gabon. He attended Rangers' victory over Dunfermline at the weekend and trained with the club on Monday as he awaits the paperwork to complete his move.
Gers midfielder Lee McCulloch had earlier welcomed the news that the forward was to return to Glasgow.
"I just hope he hits the ground running," he said. "It's a fresh face and it will give everybody a lift. The quality is there and he's a nice guy to have around. Hopefully he can settle in straight away."
Cousin had spent the 2007-08 season at Ibrox after a £1 million switch from Lens and arrives to shore up a Rangers attack weakened by the January departure of Nikica Jelavic.
