    Ek sira tou hai slamat doosra hai toota hoa

    Aao pihr sey jor dain yeh silsala toota hoa

    Os ko dekha ek nazr to dekhtay hi reh gye

    Os k bad ab khud sey bhi hai rabta toota hoa

    Tum hamary dil kay talib aur hum heran hain

    Kiya karo gye ley k ab yeh aaeena toota hoa

    Ek tmanna thi meri so woh shikasta ho chuki

    Ek sapna tha mera jo reh gaya toota hoa

    Main nay jis ko jornay mei omer apni kat di

    Aaj woh pekar mujhay kehnay laga toota hoa

    Main hoa darya mei ghota zan gohar k wastay

    Aur laya bhi tou kiya kacha ghara toota hoa

    Mudaton k bad bhi Tabish woh mila to ye khula

    Hum tou bikhray hi thay lekin woh bhi tha toota hoa
