Germany coach Joachim Low feels "no reason to comment on media speculation" linking him with the manager's job at Chelsea.

Chelsea are looking for their eighth manager in eight years after Andre Villas-Boas was shown the door at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

Although Roberto Di Matteo has been instated as interim manager, a raft of names have been mentioned as possible permanent replacements, with Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola and Real Madrid and former Blues boss Jose Mourinho the frontrunners to be handed the reins.

However, a report in a Swiss newspaper claimed Low had met with Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich in a Geneva hotel to talk about the 52-year-old succeeding the ousted Villas-Boas.

The West London outfit have since quashed those rumours and Low, in Geneva on business grounds, refused to discuss his future.

He told Bild: "I have a contract as national team coach until 2014. The European Championships start in three months and everyone knows my goal.

"I see no reason for me to comment on media speculation."
