Luiz 'very happy' at Chelsea
Chelsea defender David Luiz has dismissed speculation linking him with a move away from Stamford Bridge, insisting he is very happy in English football.
Luiz joined Chelsea from Benfica in a £20 million move in January 2011 but initially struggled to find his feet in the Premier League and was culpable for a number of costly defensive mistakes.
However, since the departure of manager Andre Villas-Boas, who was sacked in March after just over eight months in charge, Luiz has been an integral part of caretaker boss Roberto di Matteo's plans and the Blues have rediscovered their form.
The Brazil international had been linked with Barcelona, with La Liga deemed to be more suited to his style of playing, but Luiz insists he is loving life at Chelsea.
"I'm very happy in London, I like London and Chelsea. I like England and playing in the Premier League," said Luiz.
"I play for a big club and when you play for a big club the pressure is so hard. But when you win you are the best and a hero, that is normal."
