    khuda jaane mere naseeb mein kya hai,
    kyun har kadam pe imtahan le raha hai,
    Aankho mein sapne hai,paas hoshla hai,
    aur mujh garib mein ish ke ilawa kya hai,
    kyun har dafa dil mera torta hai ,
    kar ke tanha mehfilo mein chorta hai,
    kisi ki tashvir hai ,kisi ki yaadien hai aur ish dil mein kya hai
    kyun mere se ush ki mohabbat leta ha    i
