    Rukh se perda jo hataao to ghazal ho jaaye,
    Aankhon se aankh milaao to ghazal ho jaaye.

    Door rahne se koyii baat nahin banti hai
    Paas jara aao to ghazal ho jaaye.

    Neechi nazren kiye baitha na karo mahfil main
    Teere nazron ke chalaao to ghazal ho jaaye.

    Poonch ker haal hamara kabhi pal ruk ker
    Daastan apni sunaao to ghazal ho jaaye.

    Aankhon he aankhon main ek raah banaker dilber
    'Faiz' ke dil main samaao to ghazal ho jaaye.
