Srilankan Premier League 2012

SLPL Match Schedule has been announced. The first edition of the Sri Lankan Premier League will be played this year from August. The SLPL will begin from August 11 and will continue to be played till the August 31 which will mean that the tournament will last 15 days.

There are seven teams playing in the SLPL, Basnahira Bears, Kandurata Kites, Nagenahira Nagas, Ruhuna Rhinos, Uthura Oryxes, Uva Unicorns, Wayamba Wolves, and hence, there will be 21 league games, with each team playing each other once.

The top four sides will vie in the semi-finals for the place in the final of the first ever edition of the SLPL. The games will be played at R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo and Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Kandy.

The first semi-final will be played on August 28, followed by the second semi-final on August 29 and the final on August 31. slpl t20 schedule is placed below.
