    candel Khuli jo aankh tou woh thaa na woh zamana tha

    Khuli jo aankh tou woh thaa na woh zamana tha
    dehkti aag thi tanhaayii thi fasana thaa.

    Gamon ne baant liyaa hai mujhe yuon aapes mein
    ke jaisey main koi loota hua khazana tha.

    Ye kyaa ki chand he qadmon pe thak ke baith gaye
    tumeh tou saath mera door taq nibhaanaa tha.

    Mujhe jo mere lahoo main dubo kay guzra tha
    wo koi gair nahin yaar ek puraana tha.

    Khud apne he haath se usko kaat diya
    ke jis darkhat kii tehni pe aashiyaana tha.
