LG Electronics on Wednesday launched the world's first 84-inch Ultra Definition (UD) 3D TV in the Korean market.
LG UD 3D TV integrates 4K Ultra Definition, with latest in 3D technology and smart TV features.
LG UD 3D TV offers picture quality with 8 million pixels per frame, nearly four times the resolution (3840x2160) of existing Full HD TV panels, it said in a statement.
LG's will roll out the UD 3D TV in North America, Europe, Asia, and Latin America starting in September.
LG's UD 3D TV has a 2.2 speaker system consisting of two 10W speakers and two 15W woofers for a theater-like experience.
LG says that the additional Resolution Upscaler Plus feature in UD 3D TV allows images from external sources such as hard drives and user-generated content websites to be rendered in higher detail.
"The 4K display market is still in its infancy but it was important for LG to claim a stake in this space," said Havis Kwon, President and CEO of LG Electronics Home Entertainment Company, "LG's UD 3D TV represents a whole new level of home viewing experience because it offers every advanced technology we currently have to offer."

hmmm super cool /up
waooooo thats nice
People does not get that 84" inch in it is not WOW factor but its resolution of Ultra Definition is.
I prefer OLED Full HD TV over this any day and any time. OLED panel has all the crisp and natural vivid colour which this TN panel with its all awesomeness can't reproduce.
BTW Thanks for sharing.
