India aware of SA strength, says MS Dhoni

"South Africa are a really good side, they've got the balance, they've got the talent," said India captain Dhoni.

Pakistan board monitors T20 team

Pakistan's Twenty20 team are being monitored by their cricket board in Sri Lanka to avoid a spot-fixing scandal

"No player is allowed to meet any suspicious or unknown person on the tour," said Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Muhammad Zaka Ashraf.

“There is a curfew hour for players in the evening. One can see the results. The team has been doing quite well”

Stuart Broad says England must learn from exit

Sri Lanka ended England's hopes of a semi-final place with a 19-run victory.
"Our fielding hasn't been as good as it could have been, our death bowling let us down on the odd occasion and early wickets have hurt us," said Broad.
"But as long as we have learned from it - it took us three tournaments to get the experience to win it

"We are really gutted," said Broad. "Coming to the ground today we had a good feeling that we could go far.
"You can look at a few areas [why England struggled]. I'd love to know the stats of how many games we have won when we have been one wicket down after six overs - I don't think we have lost any.
"We lost three wickets in an over today which really damaged us, but we have to look at the positives too - Samit played an excellent knock, certainly against the spin, and Steven Finn's been fantastic for us in this tournament [taking eight wickets]."
England will now begin to plan for the next World Cup, in Bangladesh in 2014, and Broad sees a bright future for his team - despite the problems in this tournament.
"I have learned that we have got a very exciting group of young guys," said Broad. "I thought we had the power to go far in this tournament but, with a young side, you get good performances and you get some average ones.
"We have been a little bit too inconsistent but we are learning from every game and that is important

The way Pakistan lost to India was very suspicious. If the PCB was actually trying to avoid any fixing, I think all alarms would have sounded.

Secondly, the way Pakistan lost to India was very bad. So Pakistan will lose today to justify their poor performance. They have to establish that they did not lose deliberately but that they are actually a poor team that cannot win pressure games.
