Broad aware of dangers India pose

England captain Stuart Broad has claimed that his team will take the momentum forward and come hard at India on Sunday.

“The morale in the camp is fantastic. We defeated Pakistan and Australia in the warm-up gamesand today (Friday) we showed aggression to beat Afghanistan. We know we can be a challenge for any team,” Broad said after his side overwhelmed minnows Afghanistan in their Group A match of the ICC World T20 here at the Premadasa Stadium.
Asked about what was the morale in the camp, especially considering the Indian challenge, Broad said, ”Our approach to the game won’t change. Sunday should be a fantastic game of cricket.”
“We know the dangers India offer. However, we don’t look deep into the balance of the opposition team,” said Broad, when probed further by the media.
England captain, however, heaped praise on Luke Wright for his valiant effort.
“He showed a bit of maturity. He is really growing up as a cricketer. It’s really good to have a guy coming in with confidence at number three,” Broad said while hailing Wright’s match-winning performance.
