wi-tribe Introduces New Unlimited Broadband Packages

wi-tribe yesterday announced its new ‘unlimited internet’ packages. With exciting and affordable new rates, customers can now stay connected, browse, download and do much more online for as low as Rs. 999 per month.

Alongside lowered rates for 512 Kbps & 2 Mbps packages, wi-tribe has also introduced a new 1 Mbps package, providing customers with more options to select an experience that best suit their lifestyle & broadband requirements.

Existing users will continue to enjoy their unlimited packages at the new rates while new users can contact the wi-tribe customer care helpline to get new subscriptions.

Check below details for all available broadband packages with wi-tribe:



Fair Usage Police:

• Family package policy: Parameters will change and speed will be reduced upon utilizing 40GB available in any given month.
• Student package policy: Parameters will change and speed will be reduced upon utilizing 34GB available for use during student hours in any given month.
• Business package policy: Parameters will change and speed will be reduced upon utilizing 50GB available for use during business hours in any given month.
• unlimited package policy: Parameters will change and speed will be reduced upon utilizing 30GB on 512Kbps and 1Mbps unlimited package & 40GB on 2Mbps unlimited package in any given month.
• Power Hours add-on will automatically expire upon consumption of 50GB

Other Things to Know:

• Upon purchase of any device, you will be required to make an advance payment of refundable security deposit equal to your monthly charge, along with activation charges
• Rs.50 monthly service charges applicable on all packages.
• Excess usage will be charged at Rs. 0.10 per MB
• For returned Desktop and Wi-Fi modems, Rs. 250 will be charged for missing adapters

These one also has 40 GB limit...
These all ISP wanted to make customers fool nothing else.

maine b sub se pehle usage policy pari thi PTCL ki hi sub se best hai ... waise 40GB b kafi hota hai par roz jo torrent downloads etc karte hon unke liye tu bekar pckge hai

PTCL k jaisa koi giant ku nahi ata hai akhir Pakistan mai compete karein tu hi service behtar se behtar hogi

Monopoly thingy is the case we experience bad customer services from the PTCL.. Also there increasing rates like I started with
1 MB in 839 (Student)
1 MB in 879 (Student)
1 MB in 929 (Student)
now currently it is 1029 Rs per month for student package.

Wateen is winding up as per rumour but it will be one of the worse rumour if this happen, since it is IMO second giant company after PTCL although it quite lower then its direct competitor and also first to own WiMax operating license.
I wish someone rip out this company especially like China mobile giant companies.

Its based on card charging system. All Qubee, Wateen and WiTribe are card based..
