Pepper Fish Masala

Ingredients
Fish - 1 lb
Onions- 2 medium
Tomatoes- 2 medium
Ginger- 2 inch thick
Sesame seeds - 2 tsp
Coconut grated- 2-3 tsp
chilly powder- 1/2 tsp
Pepper powder- 1 tsp
turmeric- 1/3 tsp
coriander powder- 1 tsp
Garam masala- 1/2 tsp
Lemon juice-1/2 lemon
coriander leaves
Salt to taste
oil for frying
Directions :
Marinate fish pieces with turmeric,salt, pepper powder
and lemon juice for ten minutes
and fry them till done and keep aside.
Use boneless bite size pieces .
Roast sesame seeds and coconut till browned up and make it into a fine powder.
In the same pan in which you fried fish add ginger and curry leaves
and saute till the raw flavor disappears.
Saute onions till golden brown
and add tomatoes and all the dry spices
and salt to taste and roast them in low flame.
Add three to four tsp of water and slide in the fried fish and close the lid for a minute.
Stir till completely dried up
and sprinkle the sesame and coconut powder
and garnish with coriander leaves.

RECIPE INGREDIANTS....!!!
- Boneless fish fingers ½ kg
- Salt 1 tsp leveled
- Black pepper ½ tsp
- Chili powder ½ tsp
- Egg 1
- Vinegar 2 to 3 tbsp
- Flour 2 tbsp
- Mustard powder ½ tsp
- Bread crumbs as required
Recipe Method
Put all together Salt 1 tsp leveled, Black pepper ½ tsp, Chili powder ½ tsp, Egg 1, Vinegar 2 to 3 tbsp, Flour 2 tbsp, Mustard powder ½ tsp in s bowl, marinate fish fingers in this for 30 minutes ..... roll lavishly in bread crumbs , deep fry till light golden n serve with loads of ketchup n fries......!!!

Pakistani Fish Biryani
This is the recipe of Traditional Pakistani Biryani cooked with Fish.

Ingredients:
Fish 750-1000 g
Rice soaked in water 500g
Oil 1 cup
Yoghurt beaten 1 cup
Tomatoes chopped 2-3 nos.
Onion chopped 2-3 nos.
Garlic crushed 1 medium pod
Ginger crushed 2 inch long piece
Green Chillies 4-5 nos whole
Fresh Coriander chopped 1/2 cup
Fresh Mint chopped 1/4 cup
Lemon juice 3 -4 teaspoon
Salt to taste
Chilli powder to taste
Haldi 1 teaspoon
Coriander powder 1 teaspoon
Dried Plum 4 pieces
Cardamom brown 2 nos.
Cardamom green 5 nos.
Cloves whole 10 nos.
Black pepper whole 1 teaspoon
Cumin whole 2 teaspoon
Taj patta 3 nos.
Procedure:
Boil soaked rice in water with 2 teaspoon of cooking salt. Keep aside.
Add all spices, ginger, garlic, lemon juice to the yoghurt and mix well then coat on fish pieces and marinate for 1 hour.
Now fry onion in oil till golden brown.
Add tomatoes and fry for 5 minutes then add marinated fishand green chillies to it and cook on low heat till fish is tender.
Avoid over stirring.
Now in a large pan arrange alternate layers of boiled rice and prepared curry. Sprinkle fresh coriander and mint over it and simmer for 5-10 minutes.
Delicious Traditional Pakistani style Fish Biryani is ready.

- (Oil for fry) تیل تلنے کے لیے
ترکیب
ایک شیشے Ú©Û’ پیالے (bowl) میں Ù„Ûسن، کالی مرچ، پیپریکا پاؤڈر (paprika powder)ØŒ لیموں کا رس، لیموں Ú©Û’ سلائس، زیتون کا تیل، نمک اور ÙØ´ Ú©Û’ کیوبز (fish cubes) شامل کرکے اچھی طرØ+ مکس (mix) کرکے میرینیٹ (marinate) کرلیں۔
اس میرینیٹ (marinate) کیے Ûوئے مکسچر (mixture) Ú©Ùˆ ایک سے دو گھنٹے (1 or 2 hour) Ú©Û’ لئے رکھ دیں۔
ایک پین (pan) میں تیل گرم (heat) کریں۔
اب اس مکسچر (mixture) Ú©Û’ چھوٹے چھوٹے کباب (small kebab) نما Ø´Ú©Ù„ بنا کر ÛÙ„Ú©ÛŒ آنچ (low heat) پر Ùرائی (fry) کرلیں۔ مزے دار ÙØ´ کباب (fish kebab) تیار Ûیں، سرو (serve) کریں
Chinese Fish Toast
INGREDIENTS :
Fish 250 gram
Bread slIce as required
Pakistani Chinese Salt ½ tsp
Egg 1
Onion 1
Black pepper powder ½ tsp
Salt 1tsp
Flour 2tbsp
Oil for frying
How To Cook Chinese Fish Toast :
• Blend fish, salt flour, Pakistani Chinese salt, onion, egg and black pepper finely in a blender.
• Cut off bread crust and cut one slice into four squares
• Spread fish paste on top of each square. Repeat process till all the paste is used.
• Heat oil in a frying pan; fry bread pieces and remove on absorbent paper

Fish Tikka Kabab
Ingredients:
500 gms fish pieces of any type
150 gms vegetable oil
1 tbsp ajwain
45 ml cream
2 tsp cumin seeds powder
2 tsp garam masala
1 tbsp garlic paste
20 gms flour (beasn)
30 ml lemon juice
5 tbsp mint or coriander chutney
1/2 tsp white pepper powder
1 onion, chopped in circles.
60 gms curd / plain yogurt
Salt To Taste
chili powder to taste
Preparation:
Mix cream garlic paste, ajwain , chili powder, cumin seeds powder, garam masala, lemon juice, salt, mint or coriander chutney, besan flour in yogurt.
Add fish pieces to the above mixture and mainate them for about 3 hours.
Heat oil in a pan, fry fish pieces on both sides till golden & crisp.
Serve fried fish tikka with chopped onions.

South Indian fish curry recipe
Ingredients
- 1 onion
- 3tbsp sunflower oil
- 1 red pepper
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1tsp black mustard seeds
- 1tsp ground coriander
- 1/4tsp tumeric
- 1/4tsp chilli powder
- 1tsp root ginger
- 400ml coconut milk
- 175ml (6fl oz) water
- 500g (1lb) cod
- 4 shallots
- coriander leaves
- lime wedges to serve
- basmati rice to serve
- METHOD
- 5 mins to prepare and 20 mins to cook
Slice 1 onion into thin wedges, then fry in 2 tbsp sunflower oil until just turning golden. Tip in 1 thinly sliced red pepper, 2 sliced garlic cloves, 1 tsp black or brown mustard seeds and fry for 2-3 more minutes.Add 1 tsp ground coriander, ¼ tsp turmeric, ¼ tsp chilli powder, 1 tsp grated root ginger and stir-fry for 1 minute.
Pour in a 400ml can coconut milk and 175ml (6fl oz) water and simmer for 8-10 mins, until slightly thickened.Season, then add 500g (1lb) cod (or any other firm, white-fleshed fish) cut into big chunks, and simmer gently, covered, for 4-5 minutes, or until just cooked.Meanwhile, fry 4 thinly sliced shallots in 1 tbsp sunflower oil until golden and crispy.Freezing and defrosting instructionsFish curry is freezable and the rice make fresh. Defrost at room temperature for 1 hour and reheat in a saucepan, covered under a gentle heat for about 30 minutes or until cooked through.
