First 3 positions go to Sri Lanka in Tour de Pakistan 5th stage
BAHAWALPUR : The participants of the 14th Tour de Pakistan reached Bahawalpur on Friday and all the first three positions of the fifth stage went to Sri Lanka.The fifth phase of the race was started this morning from the Muslim Chowk in Rahimyar Khan and 43 participants covering a distance of 176 km reached Bahawalpur. Naimat Ali of Sui Gas, who won the fourth phase of the race lost his lead in the fifth round.Sri Lankan cyclist cliched all the first three first positions in the fifth stage.Jeevan Manjola secured the first position by covering the distance in four hours, 59 minutes and 39 seconds while Mamanga Perera came second with a difference of 10 minutes and Sudhir Nalanga obtained the third position.The participants of the Tour de Pakistan cycle race will cover a distance of 88 km from Bahawalpur to Multan on Saturday.
