Poem Of The Day 5th July 2013

[Zindagi]

Why do i always smile at you as you are walking by?
Is it because i want to cover up all the hate and fear i keep inside?
sometimes i don't want to smile, i really don't
It's just that all of these emotions for you pile up inside of me
and i don't know what to do
Should i hate, or should i love?
Should i cry, or should i laugh?
When i ask myself these things, i start thinking about the past
About the times when i really did think our friendship would last
I think about the things we shared that are worth smiling for,
And so i smile at you as you walk by
And leave me as you did before.
