    cubhan hazaron kanton k cubhne ki
    kask dheron kaanch lagne ki
    saanson me
    aankhon ki patlion me
    aur lamhoon ki titliyon me
    kaise ugg ate hain
    sawal un ginat aise
    k jawab jin ka
    kuch b dia ja sakta nhi'
    aur rah k chup b jiya ja sakta nhi
    ajab sa dukh hota hai
    kahi un kahi ka
    kash k dairon me ghomti zindagi
    angaaron ko pal pal choomti zindagi
    alfaaz ma'doom se
    labon pe a k dam tor jate hain
    hosle sare sath dil ka chor jate hain
    hath se sirsirati hai zindagi
    ajab sa dukh hota hai
    toot'te bikarte lamhon me
