Ceiling Fan

[Gul-Jani]

A man died and went to heaven.
He saw a huge wall of clocks behind him.
He asked the head angel, 'What are all those clocks?'
The Angel answered,
'Those are Lie-Clocks.
We have a Lie-Clock for everyone on Earth.
Every time one tells a lie, the hands on the respective clock move by one step.'
'Oh,' said the man, 'whose clock is that?'
'That's Mohammad Ali Jinnah's.
The hands have never moved, indicating that he never told a lie.'
'Incredible,' said the man'. And whose clock is that one?'
Angel responded, 'That's Imran Khan's. The hands have moved by two places, telling us that he told only two lies in his entire life.'
'Where's President Zardari's clock?' asked the man.
'Zardari's clock is in our office.
Oh that clock is truly amazing...!
We are using it as a ceiling fan.
