PCB pays Toronto T20 fee to players
LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has paid the match fee to the cricketers for playing in the Toronto Twenty20 Tournament whereas the fee for the Abu Dhabi series will also be paid soon.
Talking with Geo News, PCB chief operating officer Saleem Altaf told that all the amount of match fee has been sent to the players through cheques.
He said that delay in the payment was due to official matters of the board as officials have been replaced.
Saleem Altaf said that soon the players would also be paid the match fee for participating in the series at Abu Dhabi.
He said that there would be no delay in future regarding the payment of fee to the players and he himself is taking care of these matters.
Saleem Altaf said that the PCB budget for the next seven months has been prepared and chairman PCB Ijaz Butt would give its approval in a day or two.
