LAHORE: The national cricket team captain Misbahul Huque on Monday urged upon the need for giving support to the team instead of subjecting it to bitter criticism on mere losing a match and added that the team was beset with a weak batting line, which required some changes in the team, Geo News reported. Talking to media on return from South Africa at the airport here, Captain Misbahul Huque said he was happy over winning the series in South Africa, the team has some problem with the batting, hopes lied with the new comers, but the overall performance of the team was not satisfactory. He said hard work required for improving the batting of the players and the appointment of a batting coach would have to be though over. Misbahul Huque said that the changes required in the team were evident to all, when changes would be made it would be visible to everyone. We were under heavy pressure after losing the Dubai series, yet we strived hard to win the series against South Africa on their home ground after 20 years, he recalled. Saeed Ajmal on this occasion said that Pakistan and Sri Lanka matches have always been very contesting and vowed to give his hundred percent in the upcoming matches also. He wished that the team on the whole would give the best of its performances.
