    Recipe of the day ~!~ 27th Jun 2014 ~!~



    Russian Salad



    Ingredients


    Apples (cubed) 2
    Walnuts crushed 1 cup
    Potatoes (cubed) 2
    Raisins 1 cup
    Boiled Peas 1/2 cup
    Carrots (cubed) 1
    Pineapple (cubed) 3 slices
    Cabbage chopped 1 cup
    Cream 1/4 cup
    Mayonnaise 1/2 cup
    Salt to taste
    Black pepper to taste
    Sugar 1/4 tsp
    White Pepper as required

    Cooking Directions

    Whisk the mayo along with the cream, salt, white and black pepper and sugar until well mixed.
    Now put all vegetables, raisins and walnuts in a bowl along with the apples and pineapple.
    Pour over the salad dressing and mix well to combine.
    Season to taste with salt and pepper and serve.
