How to use Pen Drive or USB Flash Drive as Ram in windows 7/8/8.1

We all face short RAM problem at some point. For example if we run a heavy software or a game that require more RAM than we have. Our system gets slow because of low ram and what we do either we close and reopen the program or we just wait for Windows to stat performing again both are waste of time. We can not use other programs, software or play games that require huge RAM capacity.

To overcome this problem , we can use our USB drive or Flash Drive as RAM. This way we can increase our RAM. Actually we increase the Virtual space for the System but it gives boost to the window’s performance.

The process to use your USB as RAM is not difficult.

1. First of all plug in your USB Drive or Flash Drive.
2. Now Right Click on the USB Drive and open properties.
3. Open Ready Boost Tab.
4. Select the Option Use this Device.
5. Adjust the maximum space you want to be used as RAM.
6. Click OK.
7. Restart your System.

That’s all Now you can enjoy increased RAM.
