It is always nice to show our support and loyalty to our muslim brothers and sisters dying in Palestine. Muslime nation is talking about ONLY TALKIN ABOUT this support since 1948, but none of muslim nation really reached out to help those Paletinians.

Boycotting these products will not really serve our purpose, it will hit their economy but their destructive agenda of 'destroying muslims' will even get more stronger and they will hit us more hardly.

It is shame for all of our muslim leaders all around that they are shamefully watching such henious act and yet do nothing about it. We are all waiting for Imam Mehdi, Hazrat Isa Alah-e-salaam to come and destroy them and are actually causing serious problem to the unity of muslims all around the world.

We have enough military power, enough resources to fight ISRAEL but unfortunately we are not UNITED, we are proud to be Arabs, Turks, Iranians, etc but are are not proud to be a UNITED MUSLIMS!! We must put-forth our non-productive agendas and work TOGETHER to fight the brutuality of ISRAEL and its government who are shamefully claiming that their no power in the world which can stop them for bombing.... ~sigh~ what a shame, we are follower of ISLAM and are from the UMMAH which produced Mulsim Leaders such as Syada Umar RZ and Hazrat Salahuddin Ayoobi who conquered the holy land..... and now we are yet SHAMEFULLY ALIVE to see that 'crooks' like Israeli Prime Minister is challenging our stregnth and power!!!

I guess our leader and all muslims should DIE OUT OF SHAME!!!!!

We Muslims need to calm down a bit when it comes to this boycott issue. For years we've been blindly sending out Emails and messages with collections of links and information on possible connections between certain corporations and the Israeli government and military. However, in the middle of this attempt to support our Palestinian brothers and sisters, we've lost our heads over some key important issues.

1. I'll Take a Tall Mocha, Light Whip, No Manners

In an age where there is a wide array of information with little means of verification, this boycott issue has become complicated. Maybe the person didn't know about the issue and was truly unaware, or they are just unsure about the facts.

If you see someone buying products and you feel they shouldn't be, instead of chastising them, inform them politely and with respect. Losing your cool and having bad akhlāq (manners) will not get you anywhere in your position.

2. The Self-Victimization Tendency of Muslims

Aside from bad manners, we Muslims also have a tendency to practice self-victimization. We're way too quick to show that we're being attacked and blame others for our problems, resulting in our tendency to overshoot things at times.

3. Refocus Our Emotion

Based on how we've reacted to these boycotts and other secondary efforts to support our oppressed Palestinian brethren, it's clear that we need to calm down and have more of a straight head about the issue altogether.

4. Help them Financially

Gaza has been destroyed by the Israeli military machine. There are now hundreds of new needs to rebuild the strip, from building libraries, to purchasing and sending hospital and medical equipment, to all kinds of different needs for the area. We should channel our emotion over something as small as boycotting coffee, coke, and french fries to assembling a massive effort in working to rebuild Gaza for the future.

My objective of starting my debate with the statement that you have referred @Arosa Hya; is very simple, that we first need to UNITE together to show the world what is our STREGNTH, I am not against the boycotts in any way, and am in fact for boycotting those companies and organizations that directly support the likes of Israel or Denmark. What I am saying, however, is we can do a better job of channeling our energy in supporting the Palestinian cause.

May ALLAH SWT light and guide our ways AMEEN SUM AMEEN
