    Default Cooking homemade southern cuisine?

    This weekend I am thinking about cooking homemade southern cuisine. Particularly, foods like fried chicken, biscuits, hush puppies, fried okra, etc.

    My experience of southern food does not extend very deep, as my diet does not consist of fried foods. Does anyone have any advice, recipes or suggestions concerning southern food dishes and/or meals I should cook?
