LAHORE: The five year ban placed by the International Cricket Council (ICC) on fast bowler Muhammad Amir will be lifted next month but it is highly unlikely that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will include him in the squad for the upcoming tour of Zimbabwe.
According to sources there is no chance of Amir being included in the squad despite his ban expiring on the 2nd of September 22-days ahead of the series.
There is a probability of the seamer being included in Pakistan’s squad for the team’s tour of England in October.
The PCB will try Amir out in the ‘A’ squad before he is included in the national side. He is also expected to represent Sui Southern in Pakistan’s domestic season which begins in October.
When the cricketer was approached for a comment he maintained that he is working on improving his performance at the moment and is practicing hard on a daily basis.
