Ahsan Khan, Saba Qamar to star in Zee TV Productions’ movie

Ahsan Khan and Saba Qamar have been roped in to perform in a Zee TV Productions venture titled Mohabbat Ki Akhri Kahani.


Ahsan Khan certainly has looks to kill and Saba Qamar does sizzle the screen in almost all of her performances. The Pakistani duo have been roped in to star in a Zee TV Productions’ film, which will feature the two romance each other. Here are a couple of pictures from Ahsan’s Facebook account which lets us in as to how the movie will turn out to be:-


Here, Ahsan and Saba can be seen engrossed in conversation with the crew, on the sets of the location. The captions spills the beans that the shooting is taking place in Hyderabad’s area of Saddar.


Mohabbat Ki Akhri Kahani is being directed by Siraj-ul-Haq and the script has been penned by Zafar Miraj. It is based on the SIndhi folk story of Moomal Rano. The movie highlights the issue of honour killing (which is still a practice in interior Sindh) and Ahsan has some words to say about the theme of the movie. Speaking to a local website, this is what he said:-


“It has been ages since lovers have been killed in the name of honour in our region and by making a movie on this subject we are raising our voice against those who are involved in this heinous act.”







Ahsan Khan was quite vocal about the role that he had chosen and stated that as an actor, he was in search of a character that would allow him to perform something other than the roles he was normally seen on TV with.


“I have recently turned down a couple of movie offers because I don’t want to do something which I have already done on television. As an actor my preference are roles that have substance and gives me margin to perform,” he said.





Till the movie releases, we have our fingers crossed. However, if it is one thing we do know, it is that Ahsan Khan and Saba Qamar will certainly give a stellar performance in the movie!
