    Step 1:


    Brush the hair with the brush to remove any knots. Use the fine-toothed comb to separate the hair in half. Once the hair is distributed evenly, use a comb to create an unequal share, which means that 2/3 of the parts of the hair aside. The side with more hair will be the side where most of the braid frames the face.



    Step 2:


    Grab a 2-inch section of hair where part of the hair begins. Divide this section into three equal sections. Pull the hair in the direction you want the braid to fall.
