148800 013333 mag - Salman Khan Has Plenty Of Sequels Coming Up
While director Anurag Kashyap maintains that actors like Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar and Amitabh Bachchan are overpaid, Salman Khan is probably laughing his way all the way to the bank, thanks to the success of his last release, Sultan, which earned nearly 300 crore rupees, according to several reports.

Khan, who is currently shooting for Kabir Khan’s Tubelight, is apparently struggling to decide which film he should sign. Given his box office success, Khan, 50, is on the short-list of several directors who want to start a film with him.

While Shah Rukh Khan is experimenting with his roles, Salman Khan is sticking to his larger-than-life onscreen persona. Ali Abbas Zafar, who directed Salman in Ek Tha Tiger, wants him for the sequel, Tiger Zinda Hai while Abbas-Mustan hope to rope in the actor for Race 3.

We’re still not sure how Saif Ali Khan will figure into the film with Salman Khan looming on the horizon. In addition, Salman Khan also has to decide the fate of brother Arbaaz Khan’s Dabangg 3. The sequel model doesn’t always work though and could backfire.

Salman Khan, who was blown away by the trailer of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, will star in Tubelight, which is being pitched as a social drama, alongside Chinese actress Zhu Zhu. The film, set against the backdrop of Indo-Sino War of 1962, is slated to release next year.
