BB 1 1 - Yuvraj Singh’s mother to sue Akansha Sharma
Akansha has landed herself in a legal soup after making some shocking statements about her in-laws post her eviction from Bigg Boss 10

Akansha Sharma, who was one of the commoners in Bigg Boss 10 made her entry inside the Bigg Boss house on a shocking note. The lady spoke about her failed marriage (she was married to Yuvraj Singh’s cousin Zorawar) right at the outset inviting a retort from Yuvraj Singh’s mother, Shabnam Singh, who counter alleged that it was her bad habits (one of them being substance abuse) that led to the end of the marriage.

Then right after her eviction a couple of days back, in an EXCLUSIVE interview with us, Akansha again made some shocking revelations saying that the substance abuse was in the Singh family too. Not just that she also went on to say that Yuvraj also used to smoke pot.

Clearly these allegations from Akansha have landed her in legal trouble as her mother-in-law has now decided to file a defamation suit against her for maligning the name of the Singh family.

“Why do you think she got eliminated? It’s not just because she wasn’t playing the game well but it was due to the fact that she was discrediting Yuvraj, who is a national hero. Obviously, there was public outrage as his fans didn’t like it and voted her out. Yuvi has got a huge fan following and who’s she? She’s merely hopping on Yuvi’s fame and was lying all the time. We will take lawful recourse,” said Shabnam while talking to a portal.

Shabnam’s lawyer, Daman Bir Sobti, who hails from Chandigarh said, “Yes, we will be filing a civil suit for damages and a criminal complaint for defamation. We will take video footage from the Bigg Boss house for further proof. She (Akansha) has also been giving a lot of interviews post-eviction. Shabnam will be coming to Chandigarh to discuss the matter with me.”

But what about Akansha’s allegation on Yuvraj smoking pot? “My son has given his blood, sweat and tears to the nation, this is insulting to him,” added Shabnam.

And how has he reacted to these statements? Shabnam replied,”Yuvi hasn’t told me anything, he doesn’t get into these things but just one tweet from him and there will be lot of outrage. He prefers keeping quiet. Also, he’s busy with his upcoming wedding and we don’t want to give her publicity. I would have definitely helped her if she’d asked for it, if she wanted to do something in life. It is her right and dignity. But she can’t badmouth us this way. Her lawyers are misguiding her.”
