bani bigg boss 7591 - Dear Celebs, stop considering commoners lesser mortals than you

Bigg Boss season 10 has an interesting tagline that reads – Indiawale Isse Apna Hi Ghar Samjhaye (Commoners, treat this as your own house). However, ever since the show began, there has been a constant effort coming from the celebs to make these commoners realise that television is a space where they rule and there is no way that they would ever let these commoners rise above them. The show, which began with a demarcation of celeb-commoner, ended the difference between the housemates a week ago. But it seems the celebs, especially Bani J, Rohan Mehra, Gaurav Chopra and Rahul Dev, are not yet ready to let go of their so called superiority.
Yes, we have seen commoners – Manoj Punjabi, Manveer Gurjar and ex-contestant Navin Prakash, constantly reminding themselves that these celebs can never be their friends because of their ego but we have also seen them at least trying to break the ice, which has never happened from the celebrities’ end. Recently, while having a conversation with Salman Khan, Rahul Dev, pointing indirectly towards Indiawale, said that his education and his status does not allow him to stoop to a level where he can create controversies just for the sake of it. Does that mean he considers these commoners uneducated and unethical?

If you walk back to the first week of the show, Rohan, during his verbal spat with Manoj, constantly said that he and his teammates are not like the commoners. He even clearly said that no matter what, he will always nominate an Indiawala to get evicted from the house. Even in the recent episode, when Bigg Boss asked the housemates to vote for the most boring contestant of Bigg Boss season 10, he voted for Manoj and Manveer, irrespective of the fact that Salman Khan in Weekend Ka Vaar episode clearly mentioned Rahul, Rohan and Karan’s name as contestants who seem least interested in the house.
