Various options discussed at PCB meeting
LAHORE: Various options, in case the Indian cricket team’s tour of Pakistan is cancelled, were discussed at an important high-level meeting of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) here on Wednesday.
Sources said that director-general PCB Javed Miandad and other high officials of the board attended this high-level meeting, presided over by chairman Ijaz Butt.
According to the sources, this has initially been decided in the meeting that if the Indian team does not come to Pakistan then Pakistan should play a home series against Sri Lanka despite a monetary loss.
Matters with Sri Lankan cricket board will soon be finalized in this regard.
Sri Lanka has offered the PCB that it is ready to send his team if the Indian team does not come to Pakistan.
