ISLAMABAD: President Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) Dilawar Abbas said that the federation would suffer from a loss of $60,000 if the Davis Cup tie is shifted to Oman.
During a news conference in Islamabad, Dilawar Abbas said that Pakistan in protest offered the International Tennis Federation (ITF) to hold the Davis Cup tie in Malaysia or Singapore.
He told that the PTF successfully organised 17 national and international events at a cost of Rs18 million.
Dilawar Abbas said that during the next year, one ATP Challenges, one ITF Juniors and two Futures tournaments would be held in Pakistan.
He said that an agreement for coaching would soon be signed with Aqeel Khan.
