Abbas eager for comeback, confirms availability to PHF
LAHORE: World record holder penalty corner specialist Sohail Abbas has informed the Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) about his unconditional availability for the team.
Abbas credited the country for his success at the world stage. He met with the PHF Secretary Asif Bajwa here at the National Hockey Stadium Monday and termed the meeting positive.
“I am available for team,” he said. The penalty corner specialist further said that he had been playing league hockey because of fitness.
Bajwa said doors are open for senior players. All senior players can make a comeback by proving their fitness ahead of the Asia Cup, he said.
