PCB to handover disciplinary body’s verdict to Shoaib tomorrow
LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board will handover detailed copy of the decision of the PCB disciplinary committee to fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar tomorrow (Friday), an official said.
“The board will handover detailed copy of decision of the disciplinary committee to the lawyers of Shoaib Akhtar tomorrow,” director human resource PCB Nadeem Akram said.
Three-member tribunal constituted by the board will possibly open proceedings on the appeal of Shoaib Akhtar against the decision on April 14, he further said.
PCB has given minimum seven and maximum 30 days to the tribunal for completion of the proceedings on the appeal and to submit report to the board.
Pakistan Cricket Board has imposed five-year ban over the fast bowler on disciplinary grounds.
