LAHORE: The initial phase of trials for selection of the national football team has been completed here on Thursday and 35 probable players for the camp will be announced tomorrow (Friday).

In all, 75 players were invited to the three-day trials, held here at the Punjab Football Stadium, but 65 of them participated.

After reviewing the performance of these players, 35 footballers will be short-listed on Friday for the camp beginning in Lahore on Saturday.

The participants of the camp will prepare for the event to be held in Nepal next month and the qualifying round of the AFC Challenge Cup.
