Sri Lankan cricket team arrives in Karachi tomorrow
KARACHI: The Sri Lankan cricket team is arriving in Karachi tomorrow morning for playing a series of two Test matches against Pakistan while the conditioning camp of the Pakistan team is also beginning tomorrow here at the Steel Mills ground.
The training camp of the Pakistan cricket team for the preparation of the two Tests against Sri Lanka is beginning tomorrow at the Quaid-e-Azam Cricket Park of the Pakistan Steel Mills, 35 miles away from the city.
The Steel Mills management on the directive of the Pakistan Cricket Board has handed over their cricket ground and guest house to the Steel Mills security and a ban has been imposed on media besides general public for going there.
The probable players have reported at the camp and the team will practice in morning and evening sessions.
Meanwhile, the Sri Lankan team, under captain Mahela Jayawardene, will arrive at the Quaid-e-Azam International Airport of Karachi at 5-00 am.
The first Test of the two-match series between Pakistan and Sri Lanka will begin from February 21 at the National Stadium in Karachi.
