Islahuddin, Mudassir dropped from FIH committees

LAHORE: Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) dropped Islahuddin Siddiqui and Colonel Mudassir Asghar from FIH committees and included five new committee members on Thursday.

Olympian Islahuddin Siddiqui was a member of FIH’s role committee while former Secretary PHF Mudassir Asghar was member of competition committee.

Those who were awarded fresh FIH committees’ membership were Pervez Bhandara, Hasan Sardar, Mujahid Rana, Asif Bajwa, and Shehbaz Senior.

Defending the induction of five FIH committee members secretary PHF Asif Bajwa said, newly inducted FIH committees members have known the present plans of federation besides rendering their services in prevailing setup.
