Several players wounded in attacks on team: Brendan Kuruppu
LAHORE: Sri Lankan team manager, Brendan Kuruppu has said that several players have been wounded in the attack on team.
Brendan Kuruppu said that wounded players included: Captain Mahela Jayawerdene, Kumara Sangakkara, Tharanga Paranavitana and Thilan Samaraweera.
On the other hand, Sri Lankan sports minister has confirmed the inuries of Samaraweera and Tharanga,
Lahore CCPO said that unidentifies terrorists were riding in rickshaws and they fired on the Sri lankan team, but the police taking timely action averted any disaster.
