    Kyon hai be'qarari,
    Kyon ehsas-e-ziyan,
    Sub saharay chut gaye jaisay,
    Sir-e-bazar lut gaye jaisay,
    Firtay hain bhatakty hove bina jism-o-jan,
    Milta nahi kehin manzil k nishan,
    Na kehin saya,na marham,na masihaye,
    Kia apno na ruswa,niklay sub harjaye,
    Badan hai zakhmo sa choor,
    Apnay mujh sa koso dur,
    Kyon hai be'qarari,
    kyon ehsas-e-ziyan
    Sub sahary chut gaye jaisay,
    Sir-e-bazar lut gaye jaisay.
