There is nothing better than getting a free application if it offers the same features and same functionality its other* paid counterparts have to offer. Following the same notion is an iphone application called PocketPedia which is actually a book and cd manager on amazon. The name suggests that is some king of store house of information but it’s actually just a manager that will display what you add, it does not have any preloaded content.
How the application works is also very simple and I don’t think there is any need to inform you about the functioning as it can be easily understood just by using the application once. Moreover considering the fact that the application is* free there is no harm in trying the application. Who knows this might be the one that you are looking for.
You can create categories for your favourite books, for* example you can create list of “cook books” and then include all your favorite cookbooks. At the same time you can create a list of “travel books” and keep adding the books under the various categories as you browse through and then when you are finally done you are only one click away from having all the information about the book including reviews right on your iPhone screen.
However one thing that certainly makes this application incomplete is the ability to share the lists that you have created with your friends so that information exchange can occur easily. Moreover all the list you create are stored locally so there is every chance of data loss. It would have been wonderful if there was some OTA could thing that could hold your data and provide easy way to share with your friends.
