    Default 3rd Desert Marathon Jeep rally kicking off today

    KARACHI: The third Desert Marathon Jeep rally is going to kick off today in Mithi, a beautiful and an outskirt area of the Thar Desert while the rally has been organized by district government Tharparker.

    The jeep rally has been titled as “Third Desert Marathon 2009” while the drivers have congregated in Thar from all over the country on Friday.

    The jeeps will undergo checking process before marking on the proposed track comprising of 106-kilometer distance for the commencement of race.

    The drivers claimed that they will meet the distance within 60 to 90 minutes while the winner of the rally is expected to be awarded Rs.300,000.

    The marathon will commence at 8am in the morning.
